Steps to preserve Languages in Education System : #EducationForAll #CauseAChatter

A language plays an important role that boasts about the affluent culture, rich heritage, diverse perspective, strong belief, profuse literature, extravagant music, and renounced art of a particular region. Every culture's reflection is the way we use our language. It is important to understand a regional language that generates a sense of great bonding and helps to mould completely.

Can you imagine the World without Language?

We cannot imagine this world without any language. The medium of communication is very important to know each other and improve our perspective about other regions, and countries therefore, breaking all the social barriers. Thus, a language encases our culture and individuality.

But, it’s a sad truth that most of the languages are losing its ground as it is not practiced either in spoken or written form. When a language is lost, the expressions and values get diminished with it. It’s very important to preserve our language and to emphasize its importance our new education policy is encouraging the use of regional languages in the school curriculum.

सन्नाटे में शोर : परिवर्तन :: Roar in Silence : A Change

There is a need for a CHANGE, a positive change of our mindsets and attitudes. We all need to look forward to a change that makes a person the real HUMAN. We all need to roar for a change not only when such inhuman acts happen but also to work towards the change continuously. Why we all need reminders to act on positive change when such inhuman acts take place, and then there is utter silence until such acts happen again.

This below Hindi poetry encourages us to roar for justice even when there is silence after indecent actions.

Saanate mein shor poem - MeenalSonal Blogchatter

A culmination of varied cultures, rich values, valuable history, brave people, diverse natural resources, colorful feast of attires, magnanimous heritage, multi-fold delicacies and what not. We can relate to our country INDIA very easily when we hear the above lines.

This grandeur of Indian cultures and values should be known to every generation and that can be achieved when we involve the kids to do their bit for the nation. It is our foremost duty to introduce them to the worth of culture and traditions with proper justification.

Apart from restricting ourselves to showcase patriotism on only National Days we shall habituate ourselves to shower love and care towards nation ‘My India’ on each day. We all can do a few simple practises in our life to add a significant contribution to the nation besides these can be taught to our next generation.

After Covid ends - MeenalSonal

1.    Prioritize Health:

We all knew Health is Wealth from our earlier days and many believed and practiced their life around this mantra. But now each and every person on the earth has started practicing this in real terms.

Building immunity has been core virtue and we all are working collectively to do that. Be it drinking homemade hot drinks that has all the goodness of health.

Eating Healthy has been started by many and we as a family also have started regulating our food more now. Fun in experiments with food has been challenging but this pandemic has taught us to learn this art also. Kids are also trying their hands in no-fire cooking or baking under parent’s guidance.

Exercising which was mostly rescheduled in the whole week chart has taken a first spot in the day and must say exercising in the morning fills the whole day with energy.

3 Pillars for Right Education : #EducationForAll #CauseAChatter

Education comes to us in varying forms and styles for example through formal learnings in class rooms and informal way through experiences of life. The learning curve progresses towards positive scale and allows us the power to judge what is right for us, for our family, for our society we live and our nation.

Gaining knowledge is not a process that has some specific time frame, it walks with us throughout our life making us little by little educated. The three step process that can clear the haze of understanding the fine line between good and bad is to Accept, Adapt and Reflect. Education gives the power to control all the these.

In the third post in the series #EducationForAll with Blogchatter under #CauseAChatter let us focus on how these 3 steps can make a smooth sail in tough times of life as an individual and as society.

What is importance of EDUCATION in life: #EducationForAll #CauseAChatter

We are taking up #EducationForAll series for #CauseAChatter campaign of Blogchatter and in first post we will discuss the importance of education in our lives. This is the first post in this series and lets begin with the basics and the intent behind this topic.

What is EDUCATION:
Education teaches us how to respond to life situations with our knowledge and experience. We all will agree to this that wisdom gained from education can be applied in life though the lessons learnt are ages old. Real education is to impart knowledge to students to lead a happy and independent life. Isn’t we all want to implement what we learn and apply the same with a collaboration of like-minded people in an organisation or as an individual.

“Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school.” ~ Albert Einstein. What a profound thought by Albert Einstein that remains true till date. What we learn in formal education is just one part of the coin, the other part is to implement it through thoughts and actions. Education fills the void and makes it for use with a purpose. Finding purpose in life with education leads to enormous gates of opportunities. You need not be educated in a stream that is popular or just because your peer are choosing it instead one should be studying the stream where he/she can relate to an use the same in future.

But before we head to what one should opt and why, lets discuss importance of the same in our lives.

Open Letter to POLLUTION : #BachonKiMannKiBaat

Pollution is what we are hearing everywhere and kids are most affected by this. It is taking toll on their routine outdoor activities. The feelings of little musketeers are expressed below in poetic form that encapsulates #BachonKiMannKiBaat. It is very painful to see your children and their friends in tears when Children’s Day was declared a holiday in schools of Delhi-NCR due to alarming levels of air pollution. Though children forget things easily, this pollution is leaving a permanent mark in their lives. We all need to strive for better future for our children with effective measures.

Oh! Pollution you have been voted number one

No, not in our favorites but in list of hated ones

you have taken away bundled stuff from us

be it outdoor plays or celebrations, all in a complete mess.

6 Ways to be part of SWACHH BHARAT Campaign

“I will not let anyone to walk through my mind with their dirty feet”quote by Mahatma Gandhi has a lot to convey. On 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, we are in the nation that was built with tons of hard work & sacrifices of many people.

Pure heart and mind with positive approach is certainly strong enough to drive away negativity and can always welcome new constructive changes. Mahatma Gandhi's words left a significant impact on us are so much alive in our hearts. He always taught to start doing things without wasting time and set an example for others, and mentioned, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world”He did what others thought and said while others were thinking; his thoughts brought a change in our country.

In view of bringing cleanliness part of nation, “Swachh Bharat” campaign was started on 2nd October 2014, birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Let us explore more about the campaign and how this will benefit our nation.

What is Swachh Bharat Campaign?

Swachh means 'purity' in all essence and aspects. It is a drive

initiated by Indian Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, to fulfill a long desired dream of Gandhi Ji to see India clean and Green. It is a drive which focuses on garbage management, Sanitation and self cleanliness.

The message is very clearly conveyed to all the citizens of the country by a very inspiring slogan "A step towards clean India". It clearly conveys to contribute every single bit towards building a nation where every citizen enjoys equal privilege and healthy lifestyle.

How can we be part of the Swachh Bharat Campaign?

“A clean mind maketh a clean environment.”
Whenever we visit foreign countries we are awestruck by their clean surroundings and we too keep very much care and follow the rules. But usually returning to our motherland we don’t do that.

What is that which is stopping us? Ever pondered?
So what needs to be done on primary basis?

How Parenting can make #AGenerationWithoutGenderBias

Raising children without being judgmental about their behavioral traits and more over on their gender is a huge change a parent can make to this society where by giving equal space for their son’s and daughter’s. We have joined in this campaign #agenerationwithoutgenderbias to voice our words over this issue hoping to imbibe change of thinking and mindset towards the concerns of gender bias.

You agree or not we are living in society where we hear a lot about gender bias and gender equality. We are not making girls superior or boys superior in this gender bias campaign what we are voicing is the equality that needs to be showered and the considerations one need to give to a human irrespective of gender.

Now the question comes is how can we have a society that is free of such pre mindsets over genders.

3 Reasons to celebrate Eco-friendly GANESH CHATURTI

Every festival rings in positivity along and so is the festival of Ganesh Chaturti. Ganesh Chaturti marks the new beginning all-together and Lord Ganesh who is also popularly known as Vighanharta showers his blessings upon us. With this divine beginning let us all begin to love and care our nature, which will lead us towards a more richer and healthier future.

It is always said that festivals should be celebrated with full enthusiasm and devotion towards lords and yes we all do it. Key element of a festival is to grow and prosper, But are we forgetting this key element while celebrating Ganesh Chaturti. We all have witnessed what we harm we have done to nature and still we are not restricting ourselves for further destruction.

A few steps when taken care can bring in many fruitful changes to our environment. And surely Gods will also be happy with our ways to celebrate festival. So let’s see simple 3 steps this Ganesh Chaturti to mark it’s beginning on a positive note and maintains balance in nature.

1. Respecting & Love thy Nature: It is believed in Hindu mythology that God exists in the minutest particles present around us. Remember the saying “kan kan mein bhagwan baste hai”, (In every tiny particle God resides) so one must carefully utilize the resources that nature has gifted us and respect each particle of nature. So this time let us welcome an eco friendly lord Ganesha idol painted using natural colors. By doing so we will respect our nature we come closer to God.

2. Recognizing Greatwater bodies: Our major part of our earth is surrounded by water and is the home for millions of species. Non-ecofriendly Ganesha idols when immersed in oceans and seas brings a major imbalance in the environment and flora-fauna are most effected by this act. Our one day act leads to years of work to clean these water bodies and yet we are unable to clean it completely.

One must respect the 'Jal Dev', The God Of Water in Hindu mythology by not polluting it by immersing idols that are made of plaster of Paris and fibers that are not easily dissolved in water. We cannot make the most of this festival if we are causing harm to someone else.

3. Valuing fresh Air: The grandeur of Lord Ganesha is celebrated by burning firecrackers and is done to such an extent that we fail to see lord idol in the smog of fire crackers. The smoke emitted by firecrackers is so harsh that we can’t even sing and say chants and bhajans for Lord Ganesh during such an auspicious days.

·     While celebrating festivals we should question ourselves these questions.

·     Does God need us to celebrate a festival by destroying nature?

·     Does God say us to celebrate festival in a grand manner or by heart?

·     Does celebration takes toll on God’s creations?

·     Are we making one God happy by making another one sad?

While answering these questions be honest to yourself and proceed with the celebrations of welcoming Lord Ganesh today. Wishing you all “HAPPY GANESH CHATURTI”. Hoping these pointers are taken care while celebrating this festival and not burdening Vighanharta with more man made vighans. (Vighan means obstacle and Vighanharta means person who removes obstacles).
