Open Letter to POLLUTION : #BachonKiMannKiBaat

Pollution is what we are hearing everywhere and kids are most affected by this. It is taking toll on their routine outdoor activities. The feelings of little musketeers are expressed below in poetic form that encapsulates #BachonKiMannKiBaat. It is very painful to see your children and their friends in tears when Children’s Day was declared a holiday in schools of Delhi-NCR due to alarming levels of air pollution. Though children forget things easily, this pollution is leaving a permanent mark in their lives. We all need to strive for better future for our children with effective measures.

Oh! Pollution you have been voted number one

No, not in our favorites but in list of hated ones

you have taken away bundled stuff from us

be it outdoor plays or celebrations, all in a complete mess.

कैसे बनु देश प्रेमी - How to become responsible Citizen.

माँ ! क्या देश के सैनिक ही देश प्रेमी कहलाये है,

हम सब क्या देश को सच्चे मन से नहीं चाहतें है| 

क्या करूँ मैं ऐसा जिससे मैं भी देश प्रेमी केहलायुं,

सब देखे मुझें भी गर्व से और मैं इठलायुं | 

सोच विचार कर माँ बोली तुम भी हो देश प्रेमी,

बस कुछ काम तुम भी करो और बनो सयानी| 

जैसे अपने देश को स्वच्छ रखना पेहला काम,

इसे अपनाओ और दूसरो को भी दो तुम यह ज्ञान | 

IPL - I Pledge to Love Mother Earth : Poetry for Kids on Earth Day

Nature has bestowed selflessly many things for us; it is our duty to channelize the real nature's treasure in efficiently.
The younger generation needs to understand the importance and values for preserving the environment. 

Our mother earth is a treasure trove of incredible things that selflessly pour their benefits for all of us. It's time to show our gratitude towards nature by contributing our bit. Involving the younger generation in this virtue is very important to make them understand the worthiness of resource conservation. It is our bit in the form of poetry for kids on Earth Hour to contemplate the entire scenario in a the form that will be enjoyed by them and would leave an impact on their innocent minds.

Simple n Enigmatic - Bapu

Mahatma Gandhi ,a hope ,an inspiration ,a hero whose enigmatic personality is deep buried within the hearts of every Indian. A simple poem to instill the greatness of Bapu in children.

Round Spectacles and a walking stick,

Charkha was his favorite pick.

He always liked to remain simple,

his ideals made our life twinkle.

Taught us many life lessons,

there was no place for violence.

Loving Bapu

Heroic efforts he showed each time,

won every battle with a smile.

From many obstacles he got us through,

was lovingly called as "Bapu".

He is none other than Mahatma Gandhi,

I bow my head before this great personality.

गर्व की परिभाषा : Poetry on Independence Day

Today on Independence Day, this hindi poetry raises an awareness on the duties a citizen can contribute to the welfare on nation.

आजादी का उत्सव है गर्व की परिभाषा ,

हर पलकों में छलके खुशियों भरी आशा । 

तिरंगे को आज नमन कर मैं भारतवासी ,

भूल गया हर वजह जो फैलाएं उदासी । 

जिस तिरंगे को देख मैं इठलाता हूँ ,

क्या वो भी मुझे देख सुखद लहराता हैं । 

इस प्रशन ने आज मुझे सतम्बित किया ,

गहरी सोच में डूबने पे विवष किया । 

क्या मेरी सफलताएँ बनी देश की भागी ,

या मैं अपने में मग्न बन रह गया परछाई । 

आज मैं सोचु मैंने किया क्या ऐसा ,

जिससे देश का मैं बनु गौरवमान हिस्सा । 

अब भी हुई नहीं देर देश की सेवा में ,

कुछ अंश मैं भी जोड़ दूँ उसकी गरिमा में । 

बह चलना है उन्नति की लहर में ,

बन के जोश की लहर हर सहर में ।

English Translation:

Celebration of independence is meaning of proudness,
each eye is moist with happiness and hope.

Today I Indian bow to tricolour,
I forget every reason that reminds me of sorrow's.
