Daydream of the Universal Wish : Haiku Poetry

Dreaming while sleeping is like entering the world unconsciously but when you Daydream about a particular thing then it is your subconscious that is making an effort to show you the desire deep burrowed. Dreams do talk about our wishes and miracles we expect to turn in our side in a flash of a second.

In the below series of Haiku, we will express what we daydream of. To all the new to the poetic world of haiku, let us share with you all that Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry of 17 syllables distributed in three lines with the count of 5-7-5. We love penning Haiku as it expresses so much in fewer words.

My Solace - Haibun

Sometimes we have to move away from our surroundings to recognize the bundle of energy with in. Self analysis in me time is what does wonders.
It's only time and perspective one needs to look inside for all questions to be answered.

Questions raised within

Lighthouse

In pitch darkness of fear and ambiguity, my heart starts shivering in search of a rescuer; then a thin clear light shows up stretching itself to guide me and tells me I am here to hold you as lighthouse gives hopes to sinking boat.

The above poetry is Haibun(Prose+Haiku/Tanka). I have chosen Haiku to club with prose.

Nostalgic Monsoon #MonsoonDiaries

Monsoon brings in many emotions along and one of them is feeling nostalgic about it while travelling down memory lane. The sky showers moments that give us bundle of energy being cheerful during Monsoon. The poetry today shared is the series of Haiku, where Haiku is 3 line poetry with syllable count 5-7-5.

Radiant lightning
Thunderous dark cloudy sky
Memories creep with onset

Reflective moments
Childhood magic reliving
Instills in freshness

Splashing in puddles
Those colorful paper boats
Hopping behind frogs

The might monsoon
Holds exceptional corner
Suffuse cheerfulness

Day #7 - Write tribe festival of words, and we have N of Monsoon  as Nostalgia with series of Haiku.

Blue Moon - Haibun

The celestial activity is a continuous process, which occurs frequently but few alignments of heavenly bodies makes it really divine. Likewise its ones own way of act in particular situations that make the person shine like blue moon.

Rarest picturesque

Charming divine alignment

Empowers vision

Haibun is a combination of Haiku/Tanka with a prose. Want to know more about Haiku, read here.

A - AUTUMN - Lessons from #NatureRepository

Autumn also called as Fall, is the season which quietly steps down to give way to newness. It can be thought as nature's stepping down only to spread a blush of red, a pinch of yellow and then turning brown to give a message that its time to rethink redefine recreate and prepare for a new beginning.

K - KALEIDOSCOPIC NATURE - Lessons from #NatureRepository

Letter K in this #NatureRepository series for #AtoZChallenge can remind me nothing but kaleidoscopic nature's view. We create many beautiful and colorful patterns when we turn the kaleidoscope at different angles. So is our nature's Kaleidoscope, which paints the earth into many different colors.

Be it atop a mountain or a view below the sea, at every turn it leaves us mesmerized. I have poured my thoughts of Kaleidoscope in these series of Haiku. Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry of 3 lines with 5-7-5 syllable count respectively and it is mostly non-rhyming.

Is Smile Immortal?

I go where my feet take me along to explore the life and myself.

Expecting the tough
being genuine in search
I portray myself

Others Offering
distract me frequently but
My heart keeps pacing

Being modest though
I question even my smile
Is that immortal?

Is there Life past death
but my present asks me to
act before I die

This is a haibun(prose + haiku/tanka), I have chosen Haiku to club with prose.

Joy - Haiku

New year brings new beginning and new dreams, everything is filled with joy and excitement but we shall not forget the lessons learnt in past year. A series of haiku will spin tales of last year.

Sharing little things
spreads the joy in leaps n bounds
Showers many more

Eager eyes cherish
Manifold joyous moments
Guzzle the lessons

Self satisfaction
Love thyself foremost lesson
Caress them to win

Smiles on dear faces
abundant satisfaction
gather in frenzy

Multitude pleasure
no bounds no definition
Flock collectively
