DREAM - Cavatina & Shadorma

Source

Walk near holding hand
Breath stopped
Today I live dream
In flash

You and me one now
Let’s take a vow

Just Listen
Don’t pause, imagine
Great future
Seen ahead
For moment say yes to dream
And see it’s magic

The first two para's of this poem is Cavatina - which said to be Italian style of poetry; and is clubbed by Shadorma at end. For more information visit Poetry Forms.

Remembrance - Shadorma

Lost I stand
Questioning him why
Deep sorrow
What’s his plan?
Shooting star answered it all

Weird change new challenge

Leads to our dream house in woods
In midst of stunning nature

I call you here
En route to join fantasy
To make dream reality

Nature’s Carnival

The "Naani" is a popular form of poetry in India, introduced by Dr. N. Gopi.  There are 4 lines for a total of 20-25 syllables.I have tried to convey my feeling with a row of "Naani"

Crack of dawn, fresh and pure
the whole thing like golden touched
snow capped foliage
lit up every heart with glee.
Exuberance of nature
captured the eyes
invitation for a nature funfair
it’s time for fun.

Celebrations have begun
time to gather now
relations to cherish
move ahead all together.

Give no halt ,no looking back
fresh start and a strong goal
slowly but steadily glow
add meaning to life.

Be like nature so humane
at all times trust in doings
no wish list to own
never asks in return.

Xylophonic Reflection

This post has won a WOW badge from Blogadda :)

Holidays on cruise
with my family and friends

There is so much fun
absorbing all happiness

Excluding worries
until cruise hit giant rock

Commotion in air
all scattering here and there

I was left alone
in a skimmed, dull and rough boat

I looked in river
to see the depth and was scared
My reflection smiled
I didn’t, amazed looked again

It was a message
from my own calm reflection

Trust self, keep courage
hearing this I gathered nerve

Rowed till my arm drain
reaching the deserted shore

When stepping from boat
looked again at reflection

This time perfect smile
was reflecting from my face

Content I thanked reflection.

This form of poetry is Choka, the classical Choka is formed by writing 5-7 syllables couplets for as many lines as you like ending however with an extra 7 syllable line.
