5 #LoveStory Books to read this #ValentinesDay




Love stories has charm in its own, and what a good way to celebrate Valentines Day reading one of them. These books has a special place in our shelf, so sharing list of books that display love to epitome and stories that essays love is beyond age, love is beyond race, love is beyond distance and love is beyond human. Let’s take a look at each one by one and fall in love with these characters of the book.





 The story revolves around Khalil and Daisy, and Darren who is Daisy’s best friend. Daisy discovering the bottle after her grandmother death and how her loneliness is evaporated by the genie is a complete delight to read.  But how only three wishes by Khalil turns the whole life of Daisy is described very well. How Darren who don’t want to come in between Daisy and Jinn love but eventually falls in between is full of twists and turns. The story portrays beautifully as to how one can influence someone they love by helping them achieve what they really want to. We at times fail to move ahead or keep our happiness as a second priority. This novella is unique which comes up with an inspiring message that one should always do what our heart tells us.

It is a love story with a twist. It is not a story where we see the characters singing songs around the bushes but a story with a message. The story is about a girl Akriti and a boy Zyan Banerji. Akriti’s upbringing was difficult as she grew seeing trouble in her parent’s relationship which ultimately leads to a divorce. Due to this reason she was scared to open up with anyone and grew up with no friend’s around. How she moved close to co-worker Ayub. Who finally pulled Akriti out of the bounds of her loneliness and helped her to come out of her confused mind to a decision is amazing to read.

“Journey Sutra” is a story about a couple named Antara & Suvin, where every stage of their love life is described in the book in phase’s manner. Antara narrates the story and all her opinions are voiced exuberantly. Why she narrates the story and how she deals with her life’s surprises are well told in the story by the author. It is not the normal story plot where characters meet and day by day the story move forwards. 

Story of Suvin & Antra has been woven very carefully at every stage of life and each shade of life has something new to learn. What each stage teaches them is a pure delight to read. Read the entire review here.

Vikramaditya Seth Jr., Owner of Seth industries empire is on someones hit list; but somehow narrowly escapes. He is offered Z plus security but he refuses that. Nikhil, a very close friend of Vikramaditya stays with him like his shadow keenly guarding him from his enemies and always making sure the place Vikram is going to visit is well searched and security measures are intact. His security tactics were impossible to crack and gave the plotter a hard time to target Vikram. 
Nikhil gets more worried about his friend after the second attempt by the killer and appoints Esha. Major Esha, a trained black cat commando, fierce, intelligent and hates any makeup is appointed to guard Vikramaditya Seth Jr. But love soon starts brewing between them taking their relationship to a next level. The story has it all love, respect, compassion, friendship, hatred and revenge.  Read the detailed review of the book here, incase you want to grab it.

The story is set up in the backdrop of mesmerizing Shivalik  ranges in  Shimla which is well known for its picturesque beauty. The story revolves around a fifteen year old boy,Mrityunjoy Roy ,who returns from the Sainik school to join his previous DAV school  and was delighted to meet his buddies after a long gap. He is a boy who likes to participate in almost all kinds of competition, has the passion of doing something different and is a day dreamer. Here, he meets a girl ,Akansha who is the most beautiful girl in the school and is captivated by her smile and gorgeous eyes. Slowly the teen love takes a leap when she joins Roy’s tuition classes.   1. When I started the read the third book description I felt, I liked second more but then when I read further, I liked all of them. You have summed up all very beautifully.

    Books are great as a valentine gift. Especially when you know that the person getting it is a book lover.

  12. Interesting list. I really like Ruchi Singh's book. Haven't read The Bodyguard though. I have read the second book in the series, and liked it. But Jugnu is my favourite. Once Upon a Genie sounds intriguing. Is it a young adult book?
