4 Right habits to continue after #Covid19 Pandemic

The Covid19 pandemic has changed our way of living, be it inside home or outside. We all have learnt to survive and be happy in the essentials and even learnt to keep ourselves at peace balancing all the work be it home chores, professional commitments, kids’ online routines and cheering the house while taking utmost care of the family.

Coronavirus pandemic has taught us many things, firstly to be mentally strong and secondly to be physically fit plus it has imbibed new habits which I am surely not going to stop practicing few habits that started with this pandemic but surely will even continue after #Covid19 pandemic ends.

After Covid ends - MeenalSonal

1.    Prioritize Health:

We all knew Health is Wealth from our earlier days and many believed and practiced their life around this mantra. But now each and every person on the earth has started practicing this in real terms.

Building immunity has been core virtue and we all are working collectively to do that. Be it drinking homemade hot drinks that has all the goodness of health.

Eating Healthy has been started by many and we as a family also have started regulating our food more now. Fun in experiments with food has been challenging but this pandemic has taught us to learn this art also. Kids are also trying their hands in no-fire cooking or baking under parent’s guidance.

Exercising which was mostly rescheduled in the whole week chart has taken a first spot in the day and must say exercising in the morning fills the whole day with energy.

2.   Supporting #VocalForLocal

One more aspect we all learned in this pandemic that all the necessary items can be purchased in our close vicinity. Why we all were travelling to that particular vegetable market to get our fruits and vegetables for week whereas a vegetable vendor was right there across the street. During Lockdown we all started valuing all the retailers who are set in our neighborhood and respecting them for their services. Our PM, Narendra Modi campaign of supporting local vendors and artisans, entrepreneurs has very well taken shape and we as Bloggers also responsibly support the local vendors and budding artists.

3.   Being #Aatmanirbhar:

This campaign Aatmanirbhar has also started by PM Narendra Modi during Covid19 pandemic and very well appreciated by all country people. The phrase Aatmanirbhar has taken many turns in social media messages some funny and few grumpy. Well I have always looked at bright side of everything, so in this case also let’s look what Aatmanirbhar has taught us.

Aatmanirbhar means ‘self-reliant’, this virtue has built deep in our roots as human and this pandemic made us to relook the definitions of self-reliant. The chores which were once designated to others have taken place in their daily tasks. When all family members take charge of the chores surely the work load is less thus balancing the work and home is easier task in this pandemic.

4.  Digital touch with Loved ones: Family & friends

Distances have a special feature they appear huge when we are stressed and appear less when we are calm.

Connecting with friends and family was one of the greatest plus of this pandemic, people who rarely did online chat or video calls performed regular chats to keep up the positive vibes. Be it school/college friend’s online reunion or family reunions, many have pledged to take this forward on regular basis.

Coronavirus outbreak made all the work to halt for a moment and then resume everything through online measures. Online world has given an emotional support in this pandemic and I am sure many people who switched to online work will still continue to do this way as this medium was not tried efficiently before. Well, we all now know how to use online world to maximize benefits.

Habits once started don’t fade away easily and especially those that leave a big impression of them in life. And one is for sure we all need to have high hopes and be positive in our thought process, our fellow blogger Arushi has hope and happiness in her post Future I wish after Covid 19 , check her post.

What is the one habit you wish to continue even after pandemic ends?

Or is there any habit that you were following from before and it helped you in the lockdown?

  1. You have covered the gist of these passed months. Even though we have never expected for such a situation to realize the beauty in small things that we get in life but the truth is we have learned a lot. We got time to do some introspection, self-realization. And these lessons will stay with us forever, It is uptight us whether to ponder on the points or forget them once things get back to normal.
