Hovering Clouds

What a fresh breeze, thank goodness scorching hot days are further delayed; air conditioner can rest for another few days.

I remembered the days when there were no air conditioners in childhood and we all used to sleep on terrace gazing at the starry sky, twinkling and few bright ones working as night lamp for us. 

But now one can hardly gaze at stars though most of us are living in high rise apartment,  the stars seemed to have hidden behind the clouds of pollution.

Are we doing enough to see the stars, can we do something positively to make the sky clear . This week's Indispire prompt DarknessForStars not only made me think that but also made me think of our real stars in relationship. Do hovering clouds of misconception and miscommunication damage our relationship and our once upon shiny stars are faded off behind them.

So let us do our efforts best to see our stars by curbing all sorts of pollution be it environmental or mental, let’s fight against them and then hope as Francois Hollande’s does “We have chased away the clouds, the sky is all 'rose.'”

Game of Blaming

One game which is famous world wide and played by all is 'Game of Blaming'. You may think one doesn't blame someone unnecessarily or does it happen unconsciously by everyone.

Here age group is no bar each person is trained to play this game from their early age. I shall point out few instances where most of us could relate to this topic. When a toddler falls on ground while playing, elders generally pick up child and start scolding the ground and simultaneously sooth the child saying "It's a play ground mistake which is uneven and poor child believes so and starts stamping the ground really hard.

Now the question arises 'Is this game played with anyone?' No it can't be played with anyone; it is generally played with a person or thing which does not react strongly, for example weaker person, unknown person or least could be any non living thing and prime section is God, which can be blamed for any wrong in the world.

In relationship too, we play this blame game and try to escape the true inner voice or rather we don't want to face the reality. Such games gives bitter experiences which ruins the relationship. So stay away from such games :)

FRAGILE: Handle with care

Yay! give me a hi-five! Have a safe flight dear, waved Kiara's grandfather. We’ll be back soon, replied little Kiara as she entered the airport. Shilpa hurriedly queued up at the check in counter. Mamma, “what's this tag of fragile all about on the luggage”, asked Kiara waiting for their turn. You started with your questionnaire again; Shilpa said adjusting her ticket and identification proof papers. “Mamma, for what we use these tags”, Kiara asked this time in little annoyed manner to grasp her mother entire attention. It's for the luggage dear, that is very delicate and which requires to be handled with utmost care, explained Shilpa in one go and was waiting for series of question by Kiara to flow.

Oh is it! Is this a promise made by the airport people? Kiara cutely asked.

Yes dear you are right and you know what they never break promises, Shilpa assured her tagging Kiara luggage with fragile tag which carried her favorite doll set and doctor set.

Doesn’t relationships come up with ‘fragile tag’; if they are not handled properly they break and cannot be mended like before. Trust is a tag for sturdy and long lasting relations. So handle with care or else you may be on loosing side. I will end this post by beautiful quote by Stephen Covey “Trust is the glue of life. It's the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It's the foundational principle that holds all relationships”.

I have tried for the first time Acrostic poetry, which I stumbled upon in one of the blogs during A to Z Challenge. An acrostic poem is a type of poetry where the first, last or other letters in a line spell out a particular word or phrase. The most common and simple form of an acrostic poem is where the first letters of each line spell out the word or phrase.
