Stress and anxiety is a common scenario in each home as month of March starts ticking , not only for the students who take up board exams also for students appearing for the exams. 

With Covid 19 cases going down the graph all the schools nation-wide are conducting the offline examinations of the senior classes and children who were confident earlier are now doubting their abilities and anxieties are building up. 

Let this stress play a positive factor in your life rather than stressing one. Children needs to just stay focussed and follow simple ways to overcome the stress and give their best during examination. These are 10 simple ways that have worked well for my children, sharing with you all

1. Early & Easy going: 

begin your schedule early, it shall always keep you ahead of time, besides it gives you an ample of opportunity to prepare your calendar according to you. Setting your challenges and starting early helps as the hurry makes the best of things also go in haywire direction. A mountain cannot be climbed in a day, so primarily do not stress yourself with unrealistic goals. Make timetable that does not overburden you at the same time work hard honestly by pushing your boundaries to the best of your capabilities.

No we are not going to discuss quantity of toys or books or dresses your child demands. These are trifle issues when the matter comes to TIME.

Our 17th parenting topic is about Quality Time vs Quantity Time. Quality time is what kids need the most from you. One must savour the quality moments spent with kids as that lasts in our memories forever and will never come again.                                   

Lets us take a simple example from our day to day life. If you are with your child and busy with your laptop or phone the whole day and if you say that they have spent a day with kids then you are incorrect!

Doorbell

We all are very familiar with our home doorbell, in fact in a miniscule of second when we are about to reach to open the door we play a guessing game as to who might be up this time and for what purpose. 

Karaoke

Have you ever tried Karaoke singing? It is so much fun, my kids love to sing karaoke and both of them give their own twists and newness to the same song. I really feel pleasure to listen to the young music band.  Isn’t it strange too, same song, same lyrics yet each one have individuality.

Well I think life is also like singing karaoke. Yes it is, for an instance we come across innumerable kinds of situations and each one of us has the ability to tackle them in ones own unique way. The way we handle taking care of the best possibilities is what makes each one outstand in a life's journey.  Each one of us has a different experience of life, though some circumstances maybe nearly similar. So pick your favourite number and sing your heart out the way you want it to as it's your turn to do wonders.

Life put forths myriad of situations ahead of every one, but the best solution lies when we deal with them in our own style. So don’t compare the situations or person, go with your inner voice that is straight from heart.

Colgate Magical Stories: Space Theme

Colgate has once again come up with wonderful concept of story telling for kids where kids weave story with their imagination and we all know once a children has a fore foot in story you are surely to visit various places in the story line. Keeping this in mind Colgate has all new Space & Interstellar based characters and themes printed on their packs, which can be easily cut out by children on the dotted line (under adult supervision). Colgate theme is Space & Interstellar and to name, few are ‘Space Launch, Space Walk and Alien planet’.  Definition and informative bits about the cut outs is also given, which makes kids more intrigued with the story. Colgate in association with Blogadda has sent me a packs of theme based Colgate toothpaste, so here is the story my daughter has created.

Jake & Ruby are best of buddies and decide to complete their science project of Solar system together. They have a magical book which opens up on their special call “Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh, create Astronomical land” and in few seconds all the devices and gadgets and even rocket are generated. Jake and Ruby wears space suits and gears up for their science project, which is to calculate length between the planets. Rocket is launched successfully and they are in space in no time. (As this is kids story they reach within minutes, though it takes many days to reach there J)

Professor's Charm -Harry Potter @ Early Learning Village

Every person understands well and feels connected when any concept is told in a story manner. Stories and its characters always hold a special place in our life as we mostly relive the characters. Stories become more exceptional when narration is excellent and who can be better than teachers. Teachers are the role models for most of us, and they hold a great responsibility on their shoulders; as their each word and action is registered in mind and heart of every child. 

Our mentors endless compassion and belief keep us always ahead in every walk of life. They mold our mind to perform and evolve. I still remember most of the stories that are close to my heart when I read when I was in teens. One such story that recently touched billions hearts across world is story of harry Potter. J.K.Rowling, the author of Harry Potter series became a household name as every kid and even elder had one of such books in their bookshelf.
