What is best Marriage Advice?

Recently I attended sister's wedding, had lots of enjoyment and I simply like all the hullabaloo of the marriage rituals and functions; many memories were flashing in mind of my wedding too. Bride is always treated with special care & attention and there is a special piece of suggestion not from one or two but from everyone.

It always amuses me to see how a newlywed is unnecessarily showered with a lot of advices from all sorts of people on how to be friendly with everyone in new home, how one should deal with situations in life together and many people to my surprise start telling their own bad experience cases. C’mon a person cannot learn everything about marriage in a single suggestion. Unless it’s coming as suggestions it’s digestible but few of them start warning the newlywed. I could sense the discomfort and anxiety in my sister and just said two words “Be Yourself”; and I think she understood in my gesture what my words meant.

The way different people have different perspectives for life and how they deal with different scenarios and make the life get going, makes the difference. There is no special technique or some predefined formula exists or will ever exist for a happy married life. It all depends on how we adapt ourselves into the new life and ease out things.

To me, wedding is bond which amalgamates two persons with glue called love, respect, trust, friendship, faith and understanding. “Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years.”-Simone Signoret. Each couple is a unique and the way each one makes the life get going is different. But what I believe is every relationship is unique and their way of dealing the challenges and the way they together face the situations are unique too.

Unique people have unique relationship
Marriage has no predefined formula, each couple is unique
