Daydream of the Universal Wish : Haiku Poetry

Dreaming while sleeping is like entering the world unconsciously but when you Daydream about a particular thing then it is your subconscious that is making an effort to show you the desire deep burrowed. Dreams do talk about our wishes and miracles we expect to turn in our side in a flash of a second.

In the below series of Haiku, we will express what we daydream of. To all the new to the poetic world of haiku, let us share with you all that Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry of 17 syllables distributed in three lines with the count of 5-7-5. We love penning Haiku as it expresses so much in fewer words.

Shine Without Limits

They say, “At this age now I have no paths to choose”.
Do people really believe now there is a dead end for my dreams?

Shutting all the exterior noises “Nyma eyes fixed to the waves and its unique synchronization with sound”.

Life = Dreams - Expectations

We are glad to reach another milestone, today it is our 300th post :)

Life, box of expectations
coming out one by one,
from each in every direction,
keeps increasing manifold
giving wings to new assumptions.

Dreams - Our Propeller

Gazing at the sky, on a dark night day,
With subtle breeze and calmness stay,
Stretched like a dome, it is a kind of craft,
Dexterity of lord with lots of shining stars.

Feeling cozy in his lap, Asked my dad,
When will I grow, to reach that majestic black?
How can I own them? And pluck some for you,
How charming they look, Dad, I want them too.

Smiling and pleased dad answered pointing high,
You do already have them, oh! My sweetie pie,
My eyes shone with a spark, eager to feel,
I ran back and forth, surprised and relieved.
Dreams are like twinkling stars !!

Do let me know, where are they hidden?
I do also need some for my buddy and kin
Will never let them go, I Promise you dad
Just give me the clue to find out that.

You already have bundles, deep within,
In the form of dreams, you surely own them.
Dreams are like stars which twinkle in us,
and gives us hope to be prosperous.

Dreams are like twinkling stars which propel us in a right direction.

Dream: Twinkling Stars

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 51; the fifty-first edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. What are dreams?
Are they our motivational aspects that keep us get going?
Or are they our wish list, which we cherish to be ours some day?
Or are they semblance of our thoughts?
Or our yearnings or some set of targets?

I will answer the above questions in a YES. Dreams indeed could be interpreted in any of the forms. They are certainly a ray of light which beams to keep our focus intact thus pushing ourselves towards our goals making our path clear. For me, “A dream is an energetic impulse, which doesn’t allow us to wilt”. Every individual is born with some set of dreams and henceforth put in their best to attain them.

Is dream an illusion? : Dreams take you to the world of faith and hope and leave behind the squeamish behaviour and annoying shiver. They take us in a fantasy land where we see all our wishes fulfilled and that imitation of our future gives us an enhancement to hit the right cord.
Aura-of-thoughts - Dream

Bind us in an eternal circle: Yes a never-ending loop, where new imaginings keep on following, or I must say our wish list keeps growing. As dreams keeps creeping in and so our desires to attain thus keeps the spark of life ever fresh.
Aura-of-thoughts - Dream

Dreams are interconnected: We connect and mould our dreams too for our loved ones. Our vision gets interconnected with people around who love to support us thus making our path easier. For example children’s passion becomes parents dream and they try their best to full-fill it.
Aura -Of-Thoughts - Dream

Is your dream big? : Now who gets to decide that? One cannot define dreams in terms of size or complexity. No dream is big or small what matters most is putting our sincere efforts toward catching them up. For instance if two kids see an airplane, one dreams to own it whereas other dreams to travel by it; how can one decide the ranking of their dream.
Aura-Of-Thoughts - Dream

Why to dream: Imaginings differ from person to person; if we look up from a child s perspective they have their own set of dreams like being felicitated as a class leader or attaining a star for hand writing or it could be more innocent like plucking some stars from the sky. As the child grow up his /her dreams changes more into realistic but the new desires surely have a spirit of keep going.
Aura-Of-Thoughts - Dream

Why to full-fill our dream: Dreams are like twinkling stars that shine within each one of us .The more the dreams the more we sparkle with positivity and satisfaction. The sincere efforts would surely help to land up in to our wishful abode.
Aura-Of-Thoughts - Dream

Finally I say, all can dream be it young or old, rich or poor, man or woman; more important is todream.

Just Listen
Don’t pause, imagine
Great future
Seen ahead
For moment say yes to dream
And see it’s magic

I call you here
En route to join fantasy
To make dream reality

Dream into Reality

This post has won WOW badge from Blogadda:)

Lavanya, entered house and kept her purse on table and went to freshen up, her mother poured coffee into mugs and took a plate of biscuits along in a tray.

“Lavi, how was your day dear?” mother questioned while caressing her head.

“It was fine Amma (Mamma), how was yours?”, Lavi answered sipping her coffee and relaxing after each sip.

“Lavi, this weekend we are going for meeting, hope you remember. Are you prepared”, mother concerned over the meeting.

“What I need to prepare Amma, it’s him who need to be prepared and groomed”, believed Lavi with little frown on her face.

“It’s not only him, even you need to. Both partners need to be prepared for marriage Lavi, as it’s the new beginning in life. A new beginning should be functioned on a fresh slate and marriage is new phase of life; and not your another assignment like in your job”, advised Lavanya’s mother.

Lavanya nodded on her mother opinion and entered her room thinking that it was my idea to look for matches through matrimonial sites as till now I did not find any person as perfect as it was in my dreams and very soon she started musing about the perfect hero of her life.

Phone ring brought Lavanya back to reality from her dreams; it was a reminder call from matrimonial site, which fixed up the meeting in a coffee shop for Lavanya and Chanakya. Lavanya selected Chanakya to meet from the rest, as she was impressed with his education and hobbies.

Lavanya always visualized of a life partner smartly dressed, well educated and clean-shaven. That night in a dream she met her life partner and was extremely happy with her choice and was content that families also agreed.

“Lavi, getup you need to go for coffee meeting; stop dreaming, dreams don’t turn in reality”, her enthusiastic mother waked her up taking out her best dress from the wardrobe.

“Yes Amma, I know, hope he turns to be my hero”, whispered Lavanya to self and got up to get ready.
Dream into Reality - Aura Of thoughts
Dreams gives hope
Reaching coffee shop, she saw a man with big moustache waving at her, confused and perplexed Lavanya stood at the door, thinking she have to reject him for the looks, realizing after a minute that moustache man was waving to another person right next to her. After a deep breath lavanya took a seat and was about to inform her mother, that she has reached coffee shop, suddenly a husky voice took her attention, “Are you Lavanya?”

Lavanya was amazed and dumb struck, as her dream prince was standing right next to him who was well dressed and of course clean-shaven.

Lavanya belief became stronger that dreams do turn into reality and her new beginning will be as smooth as his shave.
